Risk Disclosure.

The main risks of using Travls and the services offered through it, including virtual assets, funds, accuracy of information and cybersecurity.

General Awareness

This Risk Disclosure describes important risks associated with using TRAVLS and services that may be made available through the Platform. It is not exhaustive and does not describe every risk that may apply to you. Before using a Service, consider whether it is appropriate for your circumstances, knowledge, risk tolerance and local legal position.

TRAVLS is a technology and travel platform. Card, payment, remittance, wallet, custody and digital-asset services may be supplied by independent regulated partners under their own agreements. The relevant partner, product disclosure and applicable law determine the service, protections, fees, limits, rights and obligations that apply to you.

Not investment advice. Nothing on the Platform is an offer, recommendation, endorsement or advice to buy, sell, hold or use a Virtual Asset. Consider independent financial, tax and legal advice before making a decision.

The regulatory environment for Virtual Assets, stablecoins, blockchain technology and related services is evolving. Laws, regulations, enforcement priorities, licensing requirements, tax treatment and court interpretations can change quickly and may differ across countries, states and regions. A Service or Virtual Asset that is available today may later become restricted, unavailable, subject to additional checks or treated differently by law.

You are responsible for understanding and complying with the laws that apply to you, including any restrictions relating to your residence, location, tax status, source of funds, sanctioned persons or jurisdictions, and the use or transfer of Virtual Assets. We and our partners may delay, reject, restrict, freeze or report activity where reasonably required to comply with law, card-network rules, sanctions controls, fraud prevention, risk management or operational requirements.

Understanding Virtual Assets Risks

Virtual Assets can be highly volatile and may lose some or all of their value. Their price may be affected by market sentiment, liquidity, concentration, changing regulation, technology developments, cyber events, macroeconomic conditions, fraud or market manipulation. A stablecoin may deviate from its intended value, become illiquid, lose backing or be subject to redemption, issuer, reserve or regulatory risk.

Digital-asset networks may experience congestion, outages, forks, attacks, protocol changes, validator or miner concentration, transaction delays and fee volatility. Transactions may be irreversible once broadcast or confirmed. Sending an asset to an incorrect address, selecting an unsupported network or relying on a compromised wallet or device can result in a permanent loss with little or no prospect of recovery.

Availability of a particular Virtual Asset, network, swap or other feature is not guaranteed. TRAVLS or an applicable partner may add, remove, suspend or limit support for an asset or feature where appropriate. Quotes, prices, spreads, conversion rates and transaction outcomes may change before settlement, and an instruction may not be cancellable once accepted.

Funds

The treatment, safeguarding and availability of funds or Virtual Assets depend on the specific Service, the relevant partner, your jurisdiction and the applicable agreement. Do not assume that a wallet balance, card balance, payment balance or Virtual Asset balance is a bank deposit, insured deposit, e-money balance, investment, or protected by any particular compensation, deposit-insurance or recovery scheme unless the relevant partner expressly tells you so in writing.

Partners, payment networks, banks, custodians, merchants, travel suppliers, blockchain networks and other third parties can fail, become insolvent, suspend operations, suffer outages or be subject to legal restrictions. In those circumstances, access to funds, assets, refunds, bookings or other services may be delayed, limited or unavailable. Nothing in this disclosure limits mandatory consumer protections that apply to you.

Accuracy of Information

We work to keep Platform information accurate and current, but displays, balances, rates, availability, itineraries, prices, limits, transaction status and other content may be delayed, incomplete, inaccurate or unavailable. Third-party information may change without notice. A displayed rate, balance, quote, booking or transaction status is not necessarily final until confirmed by the relevant provider or network.

Check all payment, wallet, address, network, traveller and booking information carefully before submitting an instruction. If you identify an error or unauthorised activity, contact support@travls.io promptly. We may correct clear errors in the Platform or transactions where permitted by law and the applicable agreement.

Cybersecurity

Digital services are exposed to cyber and operational risks, including phishing, social engineering, malware, account takeover, credential theft, SIM-swap attacks, denial-of-service events, data corruption, malicious transactions and unauthorised access. A cyber incident affecting TRAVLS, a partner, a cloud provider, an issuer, a payment network, a wallet provider or your own device may interrupt a Service or result in delay, loss, disclosure or unauthorised activity.

You are responsible for keeping your devices, email account, password, recovery methods, authentication codes and wallet credentials secure. Do not share passwords, PINs, one-time codes, private keys, seed phrases or remote access to your device. Enable available multi-factor authentication, use a unique password, keep your software updated, and contact us immediately if you suspect compromise. TRAVLS will never ask you to disclose a password, PIN, private key or seed phrase.

Although we use security measures designed to protect the Platform, no system is completely secure. Keep records of your transactions and consider the risks before relying on any digital service.
